Gregg Nivala
VP and Deputy General Counsel - CACI International Inc

Former Marine Aviator and Federal Prosecutor 

Gregg Nivala is Vice President, Deputy General Counsel & Assistant Secretary of CACI International Inc, a Fortune 500 defense and intelligence contractor supporting U.S. government customers in critical national security missions.  He has extensive leadership and trial experience and has held various positions in private industry and with the U.S. Department of Justice including service as an Assistant United States Attorney in Richmond, Virginia.  From March of 2004 until August of 2005 Mr. Nivala served with the Coalition Provisional Authority and U.S. Department of State in Baghdad, Iraq where he organized and led the United States mission to support the Iraq High Tribunal in the investigation and prosecution of Saddam Hussein and members of his regime for war crimes and crimes against humanity. 

  Mr. Nivala served in the United States Marine Corps as a Naval Aviator from 1980 until 1987 and as an Army Aviator and Judge Advocate in the Virginia Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve, retiring in 2005.  He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and the University of Virginia School of Law.
