Speaker: Ed McLaughlin, Vice President &

Director of Athletics at VCU

Ed McLaughlin previously served as athletic director for Niagara University from 2006 to 2012, and as an assistant athletic director at American University and Merrimack College prior to his tenure at Niagara. McLaughlin graduated from Boston College with a bachelor's degree in 1995, and American University with a master's degree in 2005. McLaughlin was named athletic director at Virginia Commonwealth University on July 24, 2012.

Our January event will support Goochland Pet Lovers. Their mission is to sustain an effective partnership with Goochland County to promote animal welfare and the humane treatment of animals through innovative and educational programs, community engagement and financial support. We will collect: cat litter, dry dog food, canned or dry cat/kitten food, towels, paper towels.
