The West Richmond Businessmen's Association (WRBA) is a private, all-male, social organization of Richmond business leaders who gather for fellowship and development of personal and business relationships, while promoting community goodwill.

Speaker: Bryan Bostic
Serial Entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Startup Virginia

Bryan is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Startup Virginia business incubator, serving as its interim executive director until May 2018. Bryan, a graduate of James Madison University, sold his first venture, 2B Technology, to ticketing giant Ticketmaster after developing the system to generate over 100 million tickets annually to attractions throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. He next acquired a small startup, Smartbox Portable Self-Storage, growing the business by franchising locations around the country before selling to Sirva Worldwide several years ago. Bryan is an active investor and mentor in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, having been directly involved with over 20 companies. He currently serves on the boards of Dominion Energy Innovation Center, Activation Capital Council, Venture Forum RVA and Startup Virginia.

Boots to Suits: Our Highlighted Non-Profit

Established in 2014, Boots to Suits is a clothing voucher program for male and female Virginia Veterans transitioning from military life to civilian careers. Boots to Suits provides Veterans with two complimentary career outfits, enabling them to look and feel their best for job interviews and non-military work environments. Military spouses who are job-seeking and the primary household provider are also eligible for this opportunity.  The average age for their clients are 38-47 year old. Please consider donating the following: *New white or light blue dress shirts *New Khaki pants or *New dress socks (black, dark brown, or navy). Of course, monetary donations are greatly appreciated as well.
